The seaside town of Arbroath which has a population of around 24,000 lies 16 miles north of the City of Dundee and around 43 miles south of the City of Aberdeen on Scotland’s east coast. The town is surrounded by breathtaking scenery, golf courses, historic sites such as Arbroath Abbey and offers good local amenities plus a varied mixture of shops, schools and leisure facilities. The Abbey which was founded in 1178 has an intriguing account involving the whereabouts of the Stone of Destiny which put Arbroath and its Abbey on the map in 1951. The famous Stone of Destiny, on which all of Scotland’s Kings were crowned at Scoune Palace; Perthshire was stolen in 1950 from Westminster Abbey and returned to Scotland. After a Nationwide search the Stone was traced to Arbroath Abbey and amidst a blaze of publicity was returned to Westminster Abbey in 1951.

Originally built as a fine private residence in 1927 then latterly converting to a bed & breakfast, Brucefield House oozes style and sophistication. Since taking over the business our clients have invested heavily in a comprehensive refurbishment programme which has seen a complete redevelopment of the original property. Spending over 18 months on the renovation and rebranding of the business, the vendors of Brucefield Boutique B&B have created something truly special. On first entering the property you are instantly aware that you have entered an operation that is truly unique with contemporary design accompanied by high quality fixtures and fittings running throughout the property.

Boasting solid wood oak floors and tasteful Italian lighting within the hall, dining room & guest lounge, Aluminium stag & deer heads from Graham & Green in London, Chinese dragon Osborne and Little wallpaper in the hallway and retro 20’s table lamps coupled with contemporary Scottish photography throughout, the attention to detail & quality within Brucefield Boutique B&B is truly exceptional.
